Our Partners
We could not have created the LA Disaster Relief Navigator without our amazing partners and funders!

Meet the Disaster Navigator
On the second night of the January Los Angeles Wildfires, Imagine LA was asked by philanthropy and the Mayor of Los Angeles, to build a Navigator (in the spirit of the Benefit Navigator) to help people impacted by the Wildfires navigator every changing on slot of disaster resources. In partnership with Better Angels technology team, we worked 24/7 to create the LA Disaster Relief Navigator, a human-centered first-of-its-kind online tool that helps fire impacted Angelenos get the help they need.
The LA Disaster Relief Navigator is available in English, Spanish, and many additional Pacific Islander languages. It is fully accessible on desktop and mobile devices.

Human Centered
Action Plan
The LA Disaster Relief Navigator first asks clarifying questions about the person’s situation and then creates a personalized Disaster Recovery Action Plan.

-
Federal, state. and local government financial assistance
-
Navigating Insurance claims
-
Temporary and permanent housing solutions
-
Replacing lost documents
-
Local resource for food, clothing, and other essential items
-
Quick cash grants from local charities
-
Home damage remediation
-
Help finding a new job or your pet
-
Connections to people that can help you move forward in your recovery path
